Remember to Check the Operatives and the Company that Arrives is Legitimate

A London-based moving company that is recommended as having that unique quality of care and consideration, we ensure that our customers’ belongings are taken good care of during transit. Many moving companies prefer to pack our customers belongings ourselves and this moving company is no exception. At least that way we can ensure that customers’ cherished possessions arrive in the same condition as they set out. As well as packing our customers’ belongings our moving company is happy to provide assistance and advice to help you during this stressful time.

All our operatives wear company uniforms and carry references and identity cards in case you wish to check their details. At our moving company, we understand how necessary this is to put your minds at rest and know that the people whom you are expecting are the same ones as those who arrive. We understand that you can’t be too careful.

Our Customers and their Belongings Deserve our Respect
Our moving company has been in business, in and around London, for over 15 years. When we started our moving company we plied our removals’ business within the radius of the M25. However, since those early days we have expanded and now operate our moving company in London, the whole of the UK and throughout Europe as well. Whilst our removal company has expanded, our goals have remained well within our sights: to provide a high quality house and office removals’ service at affordable prices, taking into account our recognition that your belongings are cherished by you and deserve our respect and as much care as we can give them.

Beware the Scam Artists
Since the advent of the internet people have been getting their fingers burnt, most of the time because they haven’t been sufficiently vigilant. There are times, however, when it is particularly difficult to know who’s legitimate and who is not. Moving companies are certainly no exception and, one of the ways they dupe customers is to offer a particularly cheap estimate that encourages customers to book them. Customers’ belongings are then loaded into the van and driven to the new location. However, once at the place where you have relocated to the removal company refuses to unload until customers have paid quite a substantial ‘surcharge’, although it is not even couched in those terms: customers are simply told that, unless they pay up the van will not get unloaded, end of story!

If you don’t want to be one of those customers caught up in this kind of scenario, then choose a removals’ company that belongs to one of the various trade associations such as the National Guild of Removers and Storers [NGRS] or the British Association of Removers [BAR]. To provide you with a bit more assurance, any NGRS members also take part in the Removals’ Industry Ombudsman Scheme, an arbitration service that can liaise between removals’ companies and any client disputes. Despite membership to trade associations NGRS reports that no even they are immune to the scams. Their company logo has been misappropriated on a number of occasions so it is not really safe to assume that, just because a removal company is carrying the logo to NGRS or BAR, they are actually members. If in doubt, check with the actual association themselves. Clearly, it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to trusting somebody with your possessions.
